DIRECTORS

This is Ms. Thompson’s third year with the Tiger Belles. This will be her second year as head director. She comes to us from Salt Lake City, Utah where she attended Salt Lake School for the Performing Arts and was a member of their elite dance conservatory. Her conservatory took every top honor and performed and trained with world-renowned choreographers in Utah, Los Angeles, and New York. She was then able to live her dream on the 74th line of the World Famous Kilgore College Rangerettes. Ms. Thompson was featured in the Rangerette documentary “Sweethearts of the Gridiron” where she was filmed as a “hopeful” during the Rangerette audition process. After leaving Kilgore, Ms. Thompson attended Stephen F. Austin State University where she earned her Bachelor of Arts in Dance Performance and Choreography and a Minor in Theater. While attending SFA, she was a member of the dance department’s Repertory Dance Company and served and performed with Dancers Against Cancer. Ms. Thompson has been on staff with American Dance and Drill Team teaching and adjudicating for four years. She has choreographed all over the state of Texas as well as Utah and still travels to do so. Ms. Thompson is currently an NFL cheerleader with the Houston Texans for the second year. She is so excited to live yet another one of her dreams as the Klein Collins Tiger Belle Director.
